OUTLOOK FOR THE ADVANCED MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY
| Even though the number of manufacturing jobs in the U.S. is declining, the outlook for qualified candidates is positive for advanced manufacturing. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, opportunities for those experienced in tool and die and CNC-related positions are good. A recent study released by the National Association of Manufacturers and the Manufacturing Institute reports that 81% of American manufacturers say their biggest program is finding qualified workers.
